\\

I use my car as a daily driver and I frequently road race it. Just installed KW Variant 3 (double adjustable) coil overs. THESE are very high quality GERMAN made parts. I am a couple of seconds faster on the coil overs so to me they are well worth the money,

Look at POST 221 in the thread BELOW for more info:

Look also at my YOUTUBE link in my signature below to see how they perform on the track

Really depends if you have a ZL1 1LE or not. The 1LE has the DSSV suspension which is magic on track. Only real coilover upgrades to actually go faster are big big money and to be honest it takes a very skilled driver to get the most out of the car to where they need to go to a better suspension.

The ZL1 non 1LE has a mag ride suspension that is actually very very good as well. You will most likely see a difference with a good coilover set up but again are you going to be able to get the performance out of them, obviously that is up to your skill.

If you are never going to see the track and just want the lowered look then springs would keep your mag ride and be buttery smooth. Coilovers will do the same but at an added cost

What's your goal? What's your purpose for considering coilovers?

As mentioned above... Street? Nope, leave the mag ride. Track? Potentially worth the upgrade if you're chasing lap times. And in that case you may consider finding a set of DSSV dampers off a ZLE.
