2022 -2024 Body Parts

Good Morning,

I am curious to wonder if the new body parts that are on the 22 and 23s will work on any 6th gen or is there enough of a change they only work on 22-23.

I want to put this front bumper on my 2019.

I think you meant your 2018? My "defresh" DIY covers the opposite swap (2019+ to 2016-2018 front end), but it may still help answer your question. The main issue for me revolved around the headlights, which were not able to be swapped.

If he has a 19 he probably wants to get rid of his flowtie in the front bumper.

I am looking to put the OEM bumper from a 2023 on to my 2019. I really like the looks of the new bumpers.

Pretty much what Subcool means then, the difference between 2019 and 2020+ front SS bumpers is the center black bar on your 2019 has the integrated flow-tie and is painted black. On 2020+ it is body-color painted and no flow-tie, instead the bow-tie is in the upper grille. You can get the 2020+ look with your original bumper, the center black piece is removable and it can be ordered based on 2020+ part numbers without the flow-tie

If you have a 2019 SS then you already have that part... Here is my 2020 SS...

Now if your 2019 is an 1LT-3LT your front bumper looks different and doesn't have that part...

Yes, Its an LT and weird, every time I searched about this bumper it only showed up on 22s. I assume it should just mount up, correct?

I believe it would fit, but the headlights are different... That is very definitely an SS bumper (2020-2023)

His "Drives: 2018" is what caught my eye. From the other posts, a photo of his current front bumper would be helpful to nail down exactly what swap we are talking about...

The swap we are talking about is a 2019 LT as stated, its not been added in my profile because its for our daughter.

Thanks everyone for the help.

In that case then yeah a bumper swap is a direct swap but if it does not have the RS package then the headlights like someone else said will be differently shaped. You'd need an aftermarket upper grille or to have the RS/SS headlights retrofitted with a special harness I'd imagine.

If it does have the RS package than it's a direct swap

See the difference in headlight shapes below:

LT Non-RS Headlights

SS (RS) Headlights

It would be an expensive mod in my opinion but it can be done if you want to go that route.
