A8 2SS Camaro Procharger questions
Hey guys I recently brought a P1SC procharger for my A8 2SS.
MODS: Speed Engineering 1 7/8 Headers DSX FF kit Full 3" from headers (cats removed) to stock NPP Muffler Lt2 Intake Manifold Rotofab CAI. I dynoed 380 on pump gas and 405 with E50 I want to achieve 650whp I already ordered: Snow Performance Water/Meth stage 2 Kit LT4 injectors,HPFP and low side I am contemplating to pulley down from the start to 3.5 and that should put me around 11psi with my mods and elevation. Any inputs are appreciated.

The only thing that I am not clear about is how I am going to power the dual pumps, with this combo I am pretty sure I can also add a good chunk of E to the mix with the Meth.

Running E is almost mandatory with a SBE in my book…and still a no brainer at bigger power levels with a built motor. For example, back when I was making a bit less power, we did back to back dyno runs on 93 vs only E50. I went from 837 WHP on 93 to 906 WHP on E50 with absolutely no other changes. Same day, same dyno. The 906 run was hot too…97 degrees in the dyno cell… The Fore double and triple kits are well thought out. For big power you want to do the return line (and might as well beef up the supply line while you’re at it), add a return style regulator, and it includes the multi pump controller too. The multi pump control pulls power off a big power line right off the battery in the back. At 4-5 psi of boost, my 2nd and 3rd pumps kick in automatically. Something to think about. I messed around with multiple low side setups before doing the Fore and I wish I had done it right out out the gate.

I plan to build the engine eventually I just dont want to it at this moment. And the thing is I want to upgrade the fuel system the right way. Its easy to try and bandaid the fuel problems on these cars and in the long haul you would have spend more money. Can you elaborate more on how your setup triggers the 2nd and 3rd pump? The Fore triple is the ultimate low side upgrade. It pretty much future proofs your low side fuel system if you ever decide to go above 1000whp on E85.
Far as cheaper solutions that will work with majority of builds(<1000whp), There are now some bigger drop-in single pump options such as the Bosch "Big Boy" drop in that bridges the gap from the standard LT4 upgrade and full blown standalone systems like the Fore. https://smgspeed.com/product/smg-big...nd-gen3-cts-v/ There are also Aux pump kits if you do not mind tapping the tank. ![]() Edit: make sure you get the pressure sensor setup to go on the filter so the car can continue to read low side fuel pressure. Also get the flex fuel sensor fittings since the sensor is too small to leave on the supply, and the fittings let you move it to the return line.
