ZL1 Pricing

Hey guys, I just got $3k off a 23 ZL1 convertible that had been sitting on the lot for a while. Was listed for $2k off. After the deal, they found out I qualified for a GM supplier discount and they were very interested in putting that paperwork in. Did I screw myself out of a bigger discount or would the supplier discount be less than the $1k extra I was able to bargain for. Just curious. Thanks.

The GM price is usually the best option and for the dealer it off sets their discount. That’s why they wanted to do it. But either way you got a great deal especially in this market. Id take that win and both sides made out. So no worries.

You can build and price the same ZL1 on the GM supplier pricing website and see... In my experience, supplier pricing is usually somewhere between $2,000-$2,500 off regular MSRP.

23 ZL1 Vert discount is right around $2550. The dealership was wanting to use the supplier discount as GM would have reimbursed them for part of the discount. The dealership would have probably made more $$$ on the deal.

Supplier discount is calculated as INVOICE + $300.

It's anyone's guess what that dealer was ultimately willing to do with the numbers, but I would just be happy with the deal you got. In fact, I bought my SS last year on Supplier discount

Ok thanks guys. I feel the same way. Feels like both sides won. And I didn’t know about my eligibility and neither did they til the deal was struck so it wasn’t like they took me for a fool.
