My Camaro has been a mystery, and at times a nightmare. When everything is normal, "it's fun to drive". But I have been troubleshooting an issue for a long time and I believe it is near resolution. The car has a GFB Turbo Diverter, Turbosmart 7LB Actuator, Mishimoto Cold Air intake, a Trifecta Tune, and custom exhaust. Here's where it started: After the tune the car was throwing codes for the MAF Sensor, so I had to have the air change tweaked in the tune. Then I began getting P015B Generic Code for S1B1 on my cheap OBDII reader, and on my expensive OBDII, I was getting S2B2, "so I changed both O2 Sensors after disconnecting the Negative Battery Terminal. A week later the code returned, "as a Permanent Code". At this point I started studying my live data and noticed a very low reading on the Perge Valve Solenoid, "so I changed it and the code vanished". I heard a tap from the lifters when I had my windows down, so I pulled the Spark Plugs a noticed some oil on the threads, "I already ordered the Cam Cover Gasket kit", so I will be changing that. Just for the keck of it, I connected my OBDII reader "the Good One" this morning and had no codes, "but it was alerting me to the EVAP monitor". This is where I need your help, "where is the Evap Canister"? I'm not referring to the Solenoid, I need the actual Canister". But I noticed something else odd, "When I fill up my MPG dash display increases to 28-30mpg, but as I use more gas the MPG goes to 17-19 miles per gallon. I suspect a sensor isn't reading correctly. I don't want to start replacing parts to find the issue. But for the Cam Cover Gasket kit, "does anyone know where I can get the PCV and Fuel line release tools? I don't know what GM (Chevrolet) calls them. Those hose releases are a nightmare!!
