Hash Marks on a V-6?

Hello! We just purchased a '23 convertible with the 3.6 motor. My question is: Is it somehow frowned upon to add
hash marks to the front fenders, considering that this isn't an SS? I'm probably going to add them anyway since I like the look,
but was wondering if the purist community had an opinion.
Thanks

to the forums, Hoppus Maximus.

For all I know, it's your car that you paid for with your own money, so who cares what "purists" say; nevertheless, stripes and hash marks were never meant only for V8 trims, so I say go and have at it, they look great

Many color options to choose from even for this one decal type, I have gloss black hash marks that work very well against the garnet (darker) red paint on my car.

Since when to fender hash marks indicate an SS?
The SS front grill comes with an SS, SS emblems come on an SS, and hood vents come with V8 engine.
These are not available as factory options with a V6 so any of those added to a V6 might be frowned upon by some. I personally don't care what others do with their cars.
Fender hash marks are available on any configuration, so go for it.

I have never heard of fender hash marks being only for V8's, like everyone said, it's your car, dress it up however you like and make it your own!

Congrats on the car and welcome to the Forums!
