update to order cancellation -new option

I previously posted that I ordered a 2023 Sharkskin LT1 with dual mode and automatic in May. As of late September, no movement at all so I cancelled.
I came across a 2023 1SS, gray with recaros, automatic, sunroof, dual mode exhaust, and wrapped wheel and shifter.
Of course, it's more but can get 500.00 off sticker. I was wondering if a 1SS might be a better choice? I've got the car held till Monday.
Thanks.

I don’t there’s a bad choice, LT1 or 1SS. That 1SS sounds pretty nice. If you like the Recaro’s and the sunroof, I say go for it.

Test fit the sunroof car if you're going to wear a helmet.

I also was looking at LT1 and 1SS vehicles. Other than looks and spoilers the biggest difference is the wider tires. 275 summer tires in the rear are going to really improve handling and grip over the 245 all season tires on the LT1. It also gives you the bigger screen even if you don’t get a Bose sound system.

But if you want the Bose system then you can only get that option on a 1LT. 1SS does not offer that.

Good luck. Either car is a fine choice. Hope it all works out.

1SS all day, every day... Many more advantages over the LT1 than just wider rear tires... If you can afford the 1SS, much better than the LT1...

I like the gauges on the SS better, although all that info is there on the LT1 you just need to scroll through.

I find the BOSE to be a must have, it really sounds great.

4 pipe exhaust FOR SURE the one thing I would not go without.

If you are not track driving then at least you can rotate the tires on the LT1.

I wanted to order the Recaros and skip the sunroof, the car I ended up finding (nearly new) had those flipped LOL - I am liking using the sunroof however it does mess up headroom.

Sort of on that topic, why do these seats not recline further????????????

Sounds like you have a nicely equipped car that you're looking at, that is also available and within reach. I say go for it.
