Odd question

So there was a minor situation with delivery of my 23, now I want to be 100% clear THE DEALER IS MAKING IT RIGHT, they have been nothing bit fantastic really.

So the front passenger wheel go curbbed up coming off the dealer trailer, driver was legit more upset than I was, I wasn't happy but it was clearly an accident and it could have been worse.

So new wheel arrives tomorrow and I get to keep the scuffed up one, but the question is WTF do i do with one scuffed front ZL1 wheel, is it wrong of me to ask if there is any value in it to sell?

anyhow here it is

Open to suggestions

Sale it as is or have it painted and sale. Or fix/paint and keep it for a spare.

Wheel repair business will have that wheel looking new for $75.

If I was in your situation, I would find a local wheel repair shop. If the shop is any good, it should be able to repair that wheel back to new for around $100. I would then keep it as a backup if any of the other wheels on car ever were damaged. You'll be able to drive your car while the bad wheel is repaired. It's a luxury most of us don't have.

I gave my friend a curbed 1994 ZR1 rear wheel. He made a clock with it. Looked awesome in the garage.

Alloy wheel repair shop! Do a local search to see if there are any shops that repair wheels in your area.

I have an extra wheel same situation. I tried to sell it for months. Everyone always wants 2 or 4 wheels. My dealer gave me $50 core for it so I took it. Your dealer should be able to give you a core refund.

This is such a small defect that I'd seriously consider getting it repaired and selling the wheel for good $$, assuming you don't need or want a spare.

OP should wait at dealer for the driver to do it to another one and buy it for $50. Before long he should have a whole repaired set for <$500

The wheel can be repaired by someone that has experience in alloy wheels. No big deal.

well like someone else said refinish it and keep it if you have room for storage (in case you curb another wheel in the future)
