Difference between standard and drag strip launch control?
Based on a chart I found (see below, I don’t remember where I found it), using launch control in Race Mode indicates “Drag Strip” launch control is active whereas in all other modes it indicates “Standard” launch control. I would think any time you’re using launch control it would be a drag strip situation. What is the difference between the two??
Vehicle is a 1SS 1LE with a 6 speed manual transmission. Last edited by KARMAL; 09-01-2022 at 07:35 PM. |

I know you can adjust the amount of slip percentage and rpm launch in race mode, I dont know if it applies to the other ones, Ive only used it in race mode.

I believe you can only do that on the ZL1. I don’t see an option for that on the SS, unless I’m missing something? Or maybe that’s unique to the 2SS?

Best bet get a real DR on the back. And turn it all off. Then just stab it from idle. Or you can load up the converter a tad to keep the driveline snap lower to prevent something sheering off.
