Stay off the liberal nut job news releases. They’ll just piss you off and are just shock and awe stuff. No that’s not happening.

If everybody quits watching those bought and paid for news outlets, they will go away.

They can ask for anything, but that doesn't mean Americans will listen. The idea of a nation of self-driving EV that just take you from place to place (like an automated Uber) has been discussed for years. If the only cars allowed are self-driving, then its "safer" since cars driven by people are erratic. /s

At the end of the day, it's more about building a system of population control. If the government controls all of the transportation, it can leverage that power to force companies and citizens to comply with their desires.

All of this is a terrible idea. Sadly, the next generation of drivers is full of kids that don't like driving and don't want to and they will quickly adopt self-driving cars so they can just ride around. Luckily, these same kids don't like working either so they may never move beyond mere consumer.

That's actually Fox Biz news, they are making a parody of the left agenda. On an aside, don't kid yourself if you don't think that's on the table, you guys should live in CA and see what the legislature is coming up with here.

You won’t see me in CA and please keep all your nut jobs there so they don’t infect the rest of the country!

It would be nice if voters that place value on civil liberties and free markets had some significant representation in DC, but nope, it’s all a big kabuki that ends in legislation that tweaks the exponential rate of bureaucratic expansion.

All of those corrupt bastards can EAD.

While I have qualms about Camaros being referred to as muscle cars, you should avoid anything that can be construed as extreme on either side of the fence. For what it's worth, not everyone who is left leaning wants to take away everything fun or restrict your freedoms, that's dangerous rhetoric that all too often gets resonated within echo chambers on the far side of political spectrums. There are plenty of nut jobs that reside in both parties and I firmly believe that the vast majority of them are out there to bolster their career aspirations on the backs of peoples emotions while doing so via political grandstanding.

People are so damn caught up with their tribalism mentalities of my team vs the other team that we are all worse for it. I know that forums and pages such as these certainly have a political bias that tends to align with itself, unsurprisingly, but it'll do everyone some good to not give into to those baser instincts and fight issues that you agree/disagree with at the voting booth.

Don't watch stuff like that. 99% of the time, it's there to pander to extreme thinking and elicit emotional responses. It is, after all, what sells ratings and generates views.

agree with most of this.
biggest issues with 'merica today hands down.... politics and social media. politics would not be the $hitshow it is today without social media and without social media, more people would get jobs that help keep the country running and stop posting about every stupid little thing.

not sure that voting will be the right way to show the clear path tho. it is becoming increasingly clear that our 2022/2024 winners won't be the popular vote/electoral vote, it'll be whoever has the best legal challenge to be the winner no matter how they fared....

how bout if we just give "participation ribbons" to all of them

Are you disputing their reporting regarding the WEF calling for eliminating private ownership of vehicles?

Do you object to them reporting this even though it’s true? If so, what’s wrong with reporting this factually accurate news?

I really love how a car forum is turning into a Fox News conspiracy theory forum. This is fine. Great job mods.
