Blower coolant help

I just did a cam swap and I need help on how to fill the blower coolant. It’s all almost empty as we drained it to remove the blower. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

One easy way is to install a coolant reservoir auxiliary tank. See thread below. Once installed all you have to do is top up the new reservoir with the cap off while the car is idling. It’ll burp itself, and very quickly. Also I’m surprised they drained it instead of just clamping off the hoses. You wouldn’t have lost much fluid at all if the hoses were clamped off. Without doing the reservoir you will need a burping tool. Check Jannetty Racings website and I think they sell a cheaper tool (adapter) for burping.

Edited out incorrect info.

Didn't realize the lower part was for the supercharger coolant, thought that was all engine coolant? I think it's Dedicated motorsports that sells a fitting similar to jannetty's and its pretty cheap. Honestly if your interested just pay me shipping and I'd send it out to you. I have an auxiliary resevoir now and have no need. It's just sitting on my work bench. Personally though I'd just get a resevoir as it makes keeping the proper amount of fluid in there very easy.

The overflow tank on the passenger fender (under the hood) is dual purpose. The top half is for the radiator and the lower half is for the supercharger coolant. The lower only gets topped to half way mark Cold.
That is incorrect, that tank is for engine coolant system only. Bottom is filled to the correct level as marked and top is completely filled per user manual.

The stock supercharger cooling system has no discrete reservoir.

Ok, I stand corrected then. I’ve read in multiple places that lower reservoir is for the supercharger circuit. I’ll edit the post so there’s no incorrect info.

I read several places that it was. Editing my previous post.

No problem! Next time you are under the hood look at where the hoses go. Also, ECT is 180+ degrees at high pressure, neither of those would be something you'd want to associated with cooling air post supercharger.

I just filled and burped my SC. If you are still using the stock supercharger, look at the driver' side front corner. You will see a fill port that is covered with a rubber cap. It is a Jiffy-Tite series 5000 male connector. Get the female half of the connector part number at https://motorsports.jiffy-tite.com/#/. Download the parts PDF or take my word for it and order part #51512B from https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/. Connect a short piece of hose to the barbed end and connect a half liter plastic bottle to the hose with a suitable fitting. Connect your contraption to the fill port, add 50/50 Dexcool and start your car. Fill as needed. After it stops taking coolant, sit and watch for any bubbles that rise to the surface. I watched for about twenty minutes. I shut the car off, waited about an hour and restarted the car. A few more bubbles came out and I was done. Be very thorough with this procedure. The SC is very sensitive to air in the system.

Note: I added an expansion tank. But - if it is not higher than the SC there will be air in the system. Remember, a liquid seeks its own level.
