ZL1 1LE Warranty-Quick Request!
About to purchase a 2018 ZLE with 8600 miles. Being offered the below from the dealer. Keep in mind I likely have less than a year of 5 yr/60k factory Powertrain left.
Powertrain 48 mo/48k miles: $1899 (originally $3495) Silver: $2999 Gold: $3495 I know these are usually overpriced from a dealer, but I also know these cars have the oil pump issues occasionally. I also have a "personal" choice on a lower rear control arm that should probably be replaced. This coverage is thru Hendrick Autoguard and says it works at any GM dealer. Powertrain level covers all the major stuff, like timing chain, oil pumps and pressure relief valve, engine oil cooler hoses, water pump, etc. Silver covers steering/suspension/brakes/electrical/AC Gold covers: radiator, power windows, etc. Could even do a payment plan with 0% interest. Is it good to go ahead and get extended powertrain on these things, or? |

I paid $2400 ish for mine, unlimited years 75,000 miles with AUL, already got my money worth having the front struts replaced

Weird I contacted Peyton a few months back and ask about extending mine again. I still have 3 years remaining but asked about adding a few more years through GM platinum and she said it was on hold. Not taking anymore back then.

Get a second quote from Todd Sutherland at MacMululkin Chevy in New Hampshire. He offered same warranty from GM (GMEPP) for less on my 2017 Corvette. There is a 30 day AND 1,000 mile waiting period.
