Question about tires again (sorry)
I know I keep asking idiotic questions but I have OCD so things like this eat up my mind and I have to have everything perfectly planned or else I go crazy. As I mentioned before I would like to get an all season tire when I get my camaro. I’ve seen on the websites of michelin and continental that they have the correct size tires for the SS and the SS 1le, but for some reason it says they can’t go on either of them. This is on the pilot sport all season and the extreme contact DWS 06 plus. I know it says they fit on tire rack but is there a reason that they say they don’t fit on Michelin’s and continentals website? Do any of you have either of them on your 1LE?

why not go to tire rack.com and shop by vehicle?you will know all the tires that fit and be able to get reviews as well as info on how many miles they are supposed to last and handling in the rain/snow,dry,etc...

dont do that, but you should be at least able to get the correct size and then shop by tire size on their site.

There is generally the best information right here at Camaro6. Also note that sometimes the manufacturers tweak the compound, and what is a very minor change becomes a "new model" tire that needs to be updated in the sellers' databases. |

I got my Michelin Pilot Sports for my SS there. Only think I wasn't happy with was the tech made a sloppy mess of the wheels. He peeled off the weights but didn't clean the residue. I had to take that off and clean the rims myself. Not big deal for the deal I got at the time. |

I went to the local tire outlet and told them what I wanted to do. They suggested Nitto Invos, for all season work. They worked fine, and yes if you look thru the matrix's they wont suggest anything usually other than stock replacements.

FYI, per my experience, Costco was able to order sizes that were not listed on their web site by calling their Michelin contact directly. 2017 ZL1 vert RFTs (haters welcome) |

These sites just provide general guidelines for which tires fit which cars. When I spec'd my '20 1LE, my current Toyo R888R did not come up.

There are actually precious few choices for the 1le sizes. Lots for SS.
