Attending Nascar @ COTA

Anyone going or been? Wanted to hear thoughts on where to watch from as I'm going to try turn 1 bleachers this year. Didn't get premium parking so I'll be out in the grass somewhere, would you drive a zle out there? Any other recommendations?

I got a GA ticket like I did for the one F1 race and one Indycar race that I have been to at COTA. I'll probably walk a lap around the track throughout the race putting my bag chair at various turns to watch for a while. I enjoy the view from the pedestrian bridges and their stairs although there are usually employees keeping you moving so you don't get that view for very long unless you keep walking back and forth.

I paid $20 to go up in the tower during the Indycar race and it was a cool viewpoint and there were way less people in attendance than at the F1 race so you were allowed to stay up there for a while.

Do you know what the fee is for non-premium parking? I couldn't find any info about it in the website which was strange. For those other two events I paid a very reasonable cash price to park at Taylor Rotorsports right across from Lot T. There were some exotic cars parked in Lot T for the F1 race although your car will probably get dirty since it is unpaved.

I just found that Lot F is listed as free parking in one of the PDFs here and free shuttles are shown, but it doesn't mention pricing for the other lots.

Just some feed back in case some one else happens to look for the same info. Parking was good, won't hesitate to take zle next time. Our seats were in turn 1 so we parked in lot L for free and had a small walk to our area. Agree with above, next time I'll bring my folding chair and get a GA ticket with my yeti cup as seating was everywhere along the track. Action was not bad in turn one but think next time I'll get closer to turns 11-15. Traffic leaving wasn't bad on what i consider is the back side of the track, jumped on 130 and hauled the mail back to DFW. All in all it was one of the nicest tracks I been to and look forward to visiting or driving on it soon.
