they might be too gold
ordered these 6/21, finally got them 1/22. factory ss 1LE dimensions & offset. gy sc3 tires. i don't have any good pics of them outside yet, so that might help lighten them up. i plan on getting them on the car later this week. already thinking i'll have to do something with the calipers, a semi-bright metallic blue maybe? idk.
thoughts? wheels and car they're going on. vs forged vs02 (translucent gold) 2018 ss 1LE. currently factory stock exterior except for satin hood wrap. EDIT: this is vs forged "brushed gold". translucent was scribed on the wheel. i ordered brushed, not sure if there's a difference. it looks bullion to me but i ain't sending them back.

Well, you asked for thoughts, here's one you probably won't like: nothing comes close to the factory 1LE wheels, sell the gold and enjoy the best that's out there (...but if you keep these new wheels, calipers would look best in a light, warm color IMO).

Umm? Yes, a bit too bright gold for my taste. But maybe once they are on the car they will look good as I am also in the minority on this forum as I do not care for the murdered out look (black on black on black). All black everything cars just kind of disappear when rolling down the road. (flame suit in on for that comment!)

They will look good. It was originally my first color selection but I ended up going with “black chrome”. (Not my car just a random picture from the web)

yeah the car is too black. the factory wheels are nice, no doubt, but too dark. i didn't want to do bronze or copper and i wanted something that popped a little bit.

i have no plans of selling any original parts from the car. i like the 1LE wheels. i swap wheels and tires several times a year, this will be another set to throw in the rotation.
