BIG aero recommendations

Hey all,

Curious who all has gone with larger splitter/wing/diffuser combos than the ZLE parts?
How much more downforce are you making and/or how much did it affect your laptimes?
Did you beef up the spring rate to counter the extra load?
Where can you purchase?

Thanks!

That's what I'm looking for. Have you had any conversations with vendors on needing stiffer springs?

I talked to LG Motorsports about their C8 car they've been building. They pulled off a 2:20s lap COTA on stock power which is absolutely amazing. However, they said they found out that they were on the bump stops a whole lot during the lap, so they're now working on coilovers for the C8.

I know the ZLE springs are stiff, but I just wonder if I add another say 350lbs of downforce at 120mph, will I also be riding on the bump stops??

I need to also talk to theses vendors myself, but was just checking to see if anyone else has done the work.

ASC makes a legit front splitter. Obviously pair with a wing.

MFR Engineering made me a pretty legit rear diffuser(pics attached). Not off the shelf.

That diffuser looks badass!

Any noticeable improvements in lap times with it?

For those interested, I contacted RSRF and he said a ZLE would not require stiffer springs with the big APR splitter and wing.

What exhaust systems works with that diffuser or is it custom?

Hellya, just noticed that my car made the website now! (Pic 3) Felt good at the last track event. I can't wait to see what this season does and I can really get a feel for it.

I was a bit concerned about the amount of space that was left after I swapped out the exhaust to an after-market vs the suitcase.

Hard to say as I generally pb every time I'm out at a track even before the diffuser.

I have AWE Track. He custom fit it to my car. I dropped my car off for a week at MFR to get it done right. It should generally fit most aftermarket exhausts.

The Blue Dragon uses the ASC front splitter kit, the APR rear wing kit, and a custom rear "diffuser." I honestly don't know how much the diffuser helps (if at all). It's just a sheet of metal we bolted on to cover up the hole left by removing the stock suitcase muffler.
