GM's goal is to be all electric by 2035, not 2025. They will just have 30 electric vehicles by 2025.

I watched that commercial last night. It is pitiful, sad and dumb. It was a bunch of lame Austin Powers schtick and the GM EVs were stuck in at the end of the commercial - kind of as an afterthought. Obviously I didn't care for it. Nor am I interested in an EV at this point. Looks like my 2016 SS will be with me for a good while.

Its a bunch of woke bs thrown in our faces again. What a horrible propaganda piece.
My favorite part was the appearance that Scott Evil was once a pregnant man....lol We will probably be told this commercial is genius somehow, but to me it stinks. GM (gm) has shown their true colors and a terrible sense of humor. |

Not at all against EV’s. But, I agree, it’s a bad, super corny commercial that doesn’t move the needle at all (for me). Maybe a step up from their standard commercials where the “real people” are amazed “This is a Chevy?” But, that’s about it.
GM should buy out Dodge’s marketing firm so they can work for them. |

Hilarious...this will get the most SB up votes. I think Mike Myers sucked on SNL but was brilliant is the Austin Powers flicks. EV's suck. But the clip os funny. Don't BUY ELECTRIC....its a SCAM.

I thought the skit was funny but not to promote EV’s or an auto company. The 3 EV’s shown, may be in showrooms by end of next year, that’s terrible. To me, our biggest threat is actually 2, our debt and China. I don’t mind if we move to EV’s, it’s the cost of transitioning to them from infrastructure improvements, EV incentives, higher electric costs, heavier vehicles and what appears to be 20% or more increase in pickup trucks (ie..$75k loaded 2022 Silverado, $100k 2023 Silverado EV.

If gm (Not GM) were going to waste money on a commercial, they should have advertised a real car.  Dr EVil doing a burn out in a Camaro saying he was going to take over the world would be way more comical.
