Do any of you know if our cars have the rain n snow blocker in the grill, that blocks around 40% of air going into the engine and if so did you remove it

yes, that little piece of plastic "snow blocker" is the same on a ZL1 1LE and a standard ZL1 car. I have adjusted them on both which is pretty easy. The plastic is thin and cuts with tin snips or equivalent. It is clear what has to be done/removed once you look around the driver's side headlight near the grille area.
