Axle Back Exhaust Recommendation
Hey folks, I put on an MBRP Axle Back exhaust on my ZLE. Sounds great, but holy lord is it loud as hell, which is ok, except there is no NPP so I have no ability to adjust the sound. I think I'm gonna get another set with NPP but I'm looking for recommendations. Anyone have an axle back setup with NPP they really like? I'm also open to getting a full cat back exhaust. Thanks.

Borla s-type would work but I only see cat back from them. Magnaflow is showing the npp to on there website.
Corsa has one. They’re probably the most popular. |

Avoid magnaflow, in camaro6 they drone.

I have my custom resonated rear muffler delete (3") with OEM tips and professional ceramic coating up for sale in the ZL1 classifieds. $275 shipped, pics in the link below if you're interested. Only selling them as I went with Corsa Sport in prep for longtubes. They sound and look awesome, just would have been a touch too loud with longtubes.

I still have the factory NPP setup (sounds wicked with headers+cam), but if I ever upgrade the exhaust, it'll be a Corsa NPP setup, it's mesmerizing. Too bad it's priced like solid gold.

I'm thinking he had a system before they went with the no drone technology. I had a c6 grand sport and they had the old style systems and then the newer style no drone tech. I had the Borla Atak and my car had all bolt ons headers, Ported heads and cam. The Atak did not drone what so ever.

I'm not sure what could have been wrong but the stock axle back had zero drone and the Borla was terrible. I had the Borla Attack on a 2012 Camaro that had no drone at all but the type S was bad at low RPM. I literally took it off the car the next day. Google Type S drone its a thing, some systems have drone pretty bad, of course they claim it doesn't.
