Takeoff 9668/372 AP Front Brake Kit
Is anyone interested in a takeoff CP9668/372 Gen 6 Camaro front brake kit?
https://www.essexparts.com/ap-racing...mm-gen6-camaro We may have a kit from a Gen 6 ZL1 that will be upgrading to a larger kit later in the year. |

wheel clearance question
Currently I have a 2018 ZL1 brake setup on my SS 1LE. I am running 18 inch wheels (APEX EC7 18 x 11 ET25) and with the stocK ZL1 setup I BARELY clear the caliber now.
MY question is , if I wanted to assure myself of no clearance issues using your brake system, what is the largest rotor/caliber setup I could utilize. If I push any distance further OUTWARD towards the wheel compared to the stock setup then that would be a NO GO. In checking rotor specs of stock zl1 they are 390MM in diameter the same as yours (front rotor) but IF for some reason YOUR caliber sticks further out than the stock caliber than that could cause an issue with the 18 inch wheels. THANKS!!!

They confirm that most apex 18" wheels fit under a 20 offset, they say that the ET35 wheels need a spacer in the front. They have a template that you can print and cut out, you pull a wheel off and throw the template on the back side of the wheel. It will show you if you have caliper clearance in your particular setup. https://www.essexparts.com/ap-racing...mm-gen6-camaro (wheel fitment tab at the bototm) |
