6 Point Harness front attachment

I've just ordered a RSR rear cage and am about to order a 6 point harness.

I've got my head around most of the harness install points, but am still confused about the attachment point for the 2 submarine belts. Can anyone shed any light on this? Is there a attachment 'bar/bracket' available when using the stock seats?

On another note; is anyone using a quick connect/disconnect system for the lap belts and the sub belts? For removal during strret use and using the 3 point.

Yeah. I've seen that too. Can you let me know if it works please?

You need an attachment bar that bolts down with the seat. I made these, but believe they are available online. Also helpful are upper harness guides to keep the harness from falling behind the seat.

Very nice. I was thinking same thing for the harness guides. Can I ask what model of Sabelt harness you purchased? Silver series enduro by any chance?

One other question. Is that bar at the rear of the OEM seat. That makes sense as there does not appear to be mounting fixtures at the front. Thanks

CCS 653 was the model number. These transition from 2” to 3” shoulder and work with a Hans. The laps are 3” and subs are 2”. I found them on ebay as they were a year two old, but not expired yet.

Seats hook in the front and bolt in the rear so yes, this is bolted down with the rear of the seat. There is fabric flap that covers the area between the seat back and seat bottom that just hooks underneath the seat. This needs to be unhooked to allow sub straps to pass between the upper and lower seat. Fwiw.

Ok. That answers everything. Shows how much I know about the sub belts! I thought they attached at the rear and actually went under the seat base to the front. Sliding the belts between the base and the seat back explains my confusion. Thanks Rwhp042!
