For those of you that still claim catch cans are useless, this is what my Mighty Mouse Wild catch can had in it after a 3K mile oil change. This is a 12oz bottle, not a typical 20oz but there's probably 1-2oz of oil in here. I don't know about you but I'd prefer not to have this circulating in my intake and through the intercooler bricks.

its weird...I have the MM mild and I opened the bleed valve under the car and absolutely nothing came out... mind you this is after being in storage for 6 months but the oil life was at 35% so I was expecting there to be some collection.....

Not sure if it helped but I loosened the drain window also so that some air could get in, it started flowing quicker that way.

People say they don't work? Must be those who drive their vehicle less than 3000 miles a year.

Car manufacturers are the ones I know that say catch cans are bad and cause more harm than good. But I guess they consider this going where it shouldn't go a better option....

I don't know that I've seen any auto manufacturers claim that catch cans are bad but the question always comes up, if they work so well, why don't manufacturers include them on supercharged vehicles from the factory? The answer is really simple, cost and maintenance. Because this item requires additional maintenance, I don't think manufacturers trust that the average consumer will empty them regularly.

I can see it now. They sell a car with a catch can that has to be emptied. Customer comes in an buys said car. Salesperson doesn’t notify customer about this maintenance.
Customer: hey whats that under my new vehicle???? Oil??? What a piece of crap this new car is!!! It’s leaking oil already.

I've seen a case of someone that bought a used Hellcat with a catch can installed and didn't realize it needed to be emptied. He posted on the forum that his car was running really poorly and didn't know why. After he finally figured out what was going on, his catch can was completely full and it was dumping large amounts of oil into the intake. This is they manufacturers don't want to take that risk.

I check mine every few hundred miles or so only because I had that overfill issue back when it was installed. I usually get a teaspoon or so every few hundred miles. So ya they work.

I have the Mighty Mouse wild w/10an connections.

I get about this much out of my Mishimoto catch can after about 500 miles or so and I'm a stock NA SS...

Just got mine back from the shop with Phase II completed and will check CC (next to SC belt in pic) oil shortly to see. Not expecting a lot though.

Many of cars have had their warranties voided because of a catch can. You can search the internet and see this.

Manufacturers says the catch causes the engine to be oil starved.....OK. Just their way of getting around replacing an engine even though a vehicle had known oil pump issues, etc.
