lt4 s/c, "best" reservoir tank?

I'm slowly doing little things to my zl1 and since I'm in AZ, I usually do cooling "mods" before going down the HP path. Anywho, for those that have added a reservoir tank to your car, which did the best job? *I know, very subjective * I'm not looking to make some crazy 1k+ hp nor do I want to add a tank in the trunk.

Right now I'm liking the Cordes tank and the ADM. personally I like the OEM look of the ADM but prefer the capacity of the Cordes and if i had to pick, id go Cordes. Any other brands that have a good 1 gal capacity without having to take off a fender or place in the trunk?

There's one that fits in the drivers side fender. I don't remember which one that is

I really think it depends on your use case. For a street car or road course extra capacity wont really help in the long run as it will only delay the inevitable. One way or another the temps will get to the same value, just depends how long it will get there. Now on a drag oriented car a bigger tank or trunk tank to put ice in will definitely help lower the blower IAT's or keep them low for the run. I'd choose ADM for a street car or road course, in a strip car the larger options maybe the way to go.

The Cordes and ADM are only good for burping the coolant.I had the Cordes and it's definitely less than 1 gallon capacity. Only a trunk tank will help with keeping temps down the longest but eventually the inevitable will happen.

The ADM v2 looks best in my opinion, the Cordes tank has a little more volume. I've never seen the Synergy Motorsport tank before but it looks to hold the most coolant, however I'm not sure based on the pics if you would lose the benefit of being able to purge the air out of the coolant loop like you can with the ADM and Cordes tanks.

The synergy tank has an air purge/fill hose at the top of it. It's also nicely hidden inside the fender.

Where under hood do you plan to locate the tank?

There are different kinds so where every they attach to. I just don't want a tank or fender version. From the sounds of it though, the ADM may be the better choice.

Aside from using 3 out of the 4 bolts holding the reservoir (1 did not align), a very easy install

I saw that but not sure if it's as effective as having an auction tank mounted higher for purging.

Cordes requires you to permanently remove the rain guard.
