Major misfire issues ... help!
Yesterday I was driving and went around a big long left hand loop ... a freeway to freeway connection. I was going about 50mph, not going too hard but this piece of road is like 3/4 of a circle. I was at constant speed and fairly low revs although cornering tightly but nowhere near the car's limit, not even close. As I exit the bend and head up the hill that it goes into accelerating fairly mildly up to 60mph, my oil pressure gauge jumps UP, and in 8th gear I get a major shudder like a bad misfire. While it did accelerate, it was very lacking in power, and also my CEL and Stabilitrak lights came on, the CEL flashing at times and steady at others.
I found the nearest place to get off the freeway, parked & stopped and let the car cool for maybe 20mins. Tried restarting it and it had a seriously rough idle, like several cylinders are down. It also backfired on start up once and sounded very unwell. Being where I was I had no option but to limp home, at slow and steady speed, but it was rough and misfiring with any amount of throttle. Flashing CEL a lot of the time, sometimes back to steady CEL. Also the Stabilitrak dash light coming on most of the time. The whole time the oil pressure was up higher at idle than usual (by a quarter of the gauge) and jumped up rapidly under revs. So yeah, high oil pressure - has never happened before - and very rough/misfiring. I'm thinking a stuck oil pressure relief valve causing lifter issues. But thats just a guess. Am going to get a truck and send the car over to a mechanic Monday and hopefully get it fixed without too much pain and expense. Anyone want to take a guess where to start with what it is???? Any help appreciated.

Maybe a valve spring failure.

I wondered that with the missfire, but high oil pressure?

This is a rather odd problem mentioned in this thread with similar symptoms minus the high oil pressure.

Follow up
Just really curious what ended up being the issue here? Same thing literally just happened to my 2023 2SS last night. Down 1 more multiple cylinders misfiring bad - ESC service light. Im suspecting but hoping its not a broken valve spring. Shes sitting at the dealership now waiting to get diagnosed.
