Memory seat issues....
My memory seat feature is very hit and miss as is the exit feature. Is this common with these cars?

Sure you’re in the right place? The Chevy dealer might not take your Your Scat Pack Charger in if your memory seat issue is under warranty

My seat memory works perfect every time, including the exit feature. I say user error.
Turning off car too fast on exit - opening door? Putting car in gear too fast on start up, go to gear before seat is positioned Stuff like that. Mine works every time.

Mr. Fran is on point here. Mine has worked flawlessly as well - since I figured out the finer details. Its really easy to negate the operation and not realize it.

Make sure that you have the Memory Seat functions turned on in the Infotainment Section of the car - see if they are set up on the Auto feature instead of Off. I had issues with mine when I set it at first - it wasn't working - I then found the settings in the Infotainment menus - now it works great - when I turn off the car then the seat goes all the way back. When I start it - then it moves into my Seat 1 position...
I hope this helps you out...

also, make sure you are using the same key fob every time if you have 2 keys/users/settings. i put a black cover on my key and red for my spare which my old lady would use, and set for her, if she wants to drive the car

I was recently having an issue with the back only part of the seat not functioning. The rest of the seat would work, going into and out of position both manually and on auto. Hit or miss as well. Had it at the dealership for a new rear diff and mentioned the seat thing. I was told they had to do an update on the programming. It’s worked fine since.

If you have a manual transmission, you also have to set the parking brake before opening the door.
I found this out myself wondering why my auto exit wasn’t working. |

I don’t ever use mine but I noticed that it only works half the time anyway.

Also, the key to the seat engaging upon startup is making sure the door is closed. Then you press the start button. Now, since I have my seat so far back for egress I can't reach the pedals, when I get in I first hit the start button to engage accessory mode, and that moves the seat to my driving position. Then I can reach the brake and clutch, press them, then press the start button again to start the engine. |

I seem to recall a YouTube video of a woman that owns a 'vette going through the setup process to ensure that the memory seats are set correctly and work correctly. I believe it would apply here as well...

Mine stopped working after a recent software update. I instinctively adjust it manually depending on where I'm going but need to check it out again
