150 shot of wet Nitrous or Supercharger setup?

Yes Im aware that once you run out of Nitrous your done until you refill and reheat bottle. My main question is which setup is gonna be harder on my 6.2L LT1 A8 the blower setup or some Nitrous? Yes you get better bang for your buck with the Nitrous but I'd think the Nitrous would be much harder on my engine? I had a 94 Z28 years ago with a 150 wet shot of Nitrous Express and I installed it on a stock engine with 140k miles and it took it like a champ well up until I developed a decent size exhaust leak on one of my cylinders and blew a hole threw the cylinder wall yet I bet if I would have fixed that leak and had equal back pressure it would have ran slot longer what do you all think?

Thanks in advance.

FYI, I'd be installing the Nitrous kit or supercharger kit on my 2016 2SS A8

On my 2000 SS I have heads, cam, intake, and a 150 shot. It's been like that for about 7 years with no issues. I think it comes down to how often you would use the nitrous. Of course it will be harder on components for any given unit of actual time compared to boost, but for most that amount of time is far less with nitrous. Know what I mean? IMO a 150 shot vs say 10 lbs of boost will be less stress overall if you use it sparingly. I say this from personal experience given my situation vs some of my friends with boosted setups. And it goes without saying of course that everything is setup right from the tune, fuel, plugs, injectors, timing, etc...

Re

Thanks for the feedback back. That's kinds what I was thinking. Other than 2 set colder plugs and I have hp tuners so I can retard the timing a couple of degrees at wot. Other than that I shouldn't have to up date anything else correct. My stock fuel pump and injectors should be more than fine for a 100-150 shot and yes Id definitely be using it sparingly.

Absolutely, several members have ran a 150 or 200 shot on an otherwise stock engine with no problems. The issue with the LT1 in particular is how tight the piston rings are gapped from the factory. The tighter they are, the more likely they are to fail on a a nitrous pull. On my personal LT1, I wouldnt spray more than a 100 shot without addressing the piston rings, and if you're that deep in, might as well do forged drop ins.
