On a certified CAT scale my 2018 RS V6 coup weighed 3380 lbs with a half tank of fuel. What year GTO? My buddy had a 2006 and it was just shy of 3800 IIRC

The door jam shows gross weight rating, which is the maximum weight rating with full fluids and passengers, not curb weight.

Yep, unless Hennessey worked some weight reduction magic such as removing seats or replacing body parts with carbon fiber equivalents, I simply don't see how this is possible. They must have added a bigger S/C with auxiliary components such as an intercooler, a pump and a bunch of extra pipes. I'm not even sure JSH has a different, less heavy exhaust, he says stock catback in his sig.

Quote:
1. The GVWR = the total weight the car can carry including passengers and items you put in the car. This number includes all fluids. 2. The max weight of occupants and cargo Subtract 2 from 1 and that is the weight of your vehicle |
