Alcantara repair kit
The Zl1 steering wheel is getting flat and shiny, any suggestions for good repair-clean kits?

I have used these products many times on Alcantara and it will restore it to like new.

i use a washcloth with some soapy water, they wipe it with a washcloth with water and let it ari dry.
looks like new afterwards.

It's just a ZL1
|
I use Sonax Xtreme to clean it and it brings it back to nice and soft rather than the matted down slick feeling.its a foam i put on a soft bristle brush and brush it on wait 10 mins and wipe it off with a damp cloth then let it dry and put on Dr. Beasleys microsuede protection.

Nothing fancy required Car soapy water and towel followed w wipe down w just water.

The first thing I do is wash my hands before getting in the car. That helps a lot.

I’ve done the dish in a small bowl, agitate the water to create some bubbles/foam, use microfiber cloth to gather then foam and apply to alcantara and massage in, then take new microfiber cloth and place in clean water, and massage that into the alcantara, then dry the wheel with towel to take off the excess water and allow to air dry.
New way is to use Sonax and done. lol! |
