285 30R20 Rear on Stock SS 1LE Rims

I think this may be asked/answered before, but I can't find it and need to make a decision soon.

Will 285 30R20 tires fit on the stock SS 1LE rear 11" rims? Reason I ask is because I can't find any 305 rear winter tires, and need something quick before the snow flies. Also don't want to buy a second set of rims.

Thanks!

you can do it but a 2853020 on a 20x11 is a bit of a stretch

What about 295 up front on the stock rims? I know 295 will fit on the rear, and just found a set of square 295's.

Thanks

Ive run a 285/35 on the rear with no problem at all. 275 is the minimum recommended tire width on an 11"

I ran 275/35 and 285/35 A/S tires twice now with a problem at all on the OE wheels.

Excellent, good to know.

Wouldn't 35 profile throw off the mileage reader though? Since stock is 30.

the overall diameter is so close to the same that I didn't see a change in the speedometer (or odometer). It's like a ~1/2" in diameter *increase* and I'd watch it with GPS speeds and my speedo was within 1 mph.

This is handy tool:

Just put Bridgestone POTENZA RE980AS 295s up front and 305s on my 1LE. No issues at all.
