Hello fellow owners,


I have a 1SS that I swapped a set of ZL1 seats into (all three) and while they are nice, the red stitching doesn't quite fit the interior.


So I have 2 options, get ZL1 themed kneepads, steering wheel, and the like to get it all to match, or order 1LE Recaro leather/skins to put over mine.


To be clear I'm not really looking for seat covers, not aftermarket, but the OEM skins that go over the seats.


I've found diagrams, but can never get a part number off the diagram.


Any help would be appreciated!


Also if anyone needs help with wiring these for a 1SS let me know, it was fairly simple the way I did it, and reversible if I sell them!

I'm not a big proponent typically of staining/dying an interior, but dying the stitching black so it blends in carefully with a pen applicator or small brush could probably be handled yourself with an abundance of patience

Assuming the replacement ZL1 seats are in great to excellent condition (namely, the front upper and lower seat bolsters), I would upgrade the remainder of the interior with ZL1 components to make it match.

Probably not worth swapping the seat covers. I think if I got ZL1 seats in my car, I would look to continue from there & add knee pads with red stitch, Steering wheel, shifter/boot, and passenger dash trim. Those parts probably would be a lot cheaper than buying 1LE seat skins.

Good info, thanks y’all, I just wish I could swap the ZL1 logo in the seats for an SS logo if I go that route, that may be the next route I explore!
