Run flats and non run flat tires

Hi,

Right now i have run flats for all 4 tires and I've had some back luck with tire punctures (nails, screws, etc.). I'd rather buy 2 non-flat tires for the front now (because 1 tire is leaking air) and then 2 non-flat tires for the rear in the future when the current rear run-flat tires get worn out. I've read online that they don't recommend this but if I'm daily driving it (not taking it to the track) is it an issue doing a front non-run flat/rear run flat combo?

Also any suggestions on non-run flat summer tires would be great!

Thanks

Mixing tires I hear is not good. The run flats run considerably harder. Change to non run flat all around....

Mixing on the same axle is not bad and that's not what you said but sometimes get's confused. The not-recommended to mix front/rear isn't ideal but the grain of salt is that the recommendation comes from people who sell tires. It's "best or better" to replace in set's of 4 but it's not a make or break rule.
