Is there a freeze on parts manufacturing or shipping capabilities for GMPartsDirect that any one knows of? I placed an order about an month ago now and status is still 'On Order'.

I called the CS and only got their voicemail. Emailed, no response. Just looking for a simple update.

thats why i only order from wildhammer as they have great customer service goodluck!

Same here. I ordered the GM 2nd gen side skirts from them for my 2021 on order and had them within 1 week. Freaking fast! Maybe it depends on what you ordered OP?

Yeah, I do appreciate WH as well. I ordered a starter, heat shield, and a battery cable.

Many GM items are either backordered or special order, in other words, not in-stock even if the site says it is. The description will state if it's a special order item near the bottom. You can typically expect at least a weeks wait for pretty much anything. No response from their customer service though is on them. My only communication with them was an e-mail at the beginning of June and they responded within two days.

I've been looking to return an order to them for over a month. Have not returned my emails or calls.

GMpartsdirect is just a store front for a Chevy dealership...Flow in Winston-Salem if i recall. Maybe try calling dealership direct...

Yes. Most of them are. I use Dallas GM parts since they have really cheap shipping rates. But all they are is Gateway Buick GMC. But highly recommend them.

I haven't had a problem with GMPD. I ordered a part yesterday and it will be here tomorrow.

Thanks guys for info. I will bite the bullet and order the parts via GMPW. Hopefully I can get a refund eventually.

Only issue I have had is the shipping prices. If a part is 45 bucks at local dealer, it may be 25 at GMPD, but then they charge me 15-20 in shipping. Useless. Dallas GM Parts center will charge me 3-5 bucks in shipping. have bought 4 parts from them now. Always ship out the next day. No issues

True that. I ordered larger parts like the front splitter and the ZL1 spec spoiler from the local dealership even though they only offered 10% off MSRP, because shipping was obviously zero and the overall deal worked out much better than buying them online.

Yeah, their shipping & handling prices suck. I'm right next door as it were to Winston-Salem so you'd think shipping wouldn't be that bad....er, no it's terribly way overpriced to ship 25 miles in the same state. So, I get my parts elsewhere online or order thru my a local dealer and just pay for part + tax.
