ZL1 'sound tube'?
I'm still reading as much about the gen6 Camaro and specifically the ZL1 as I can digest. I read several posts about the 'SS sound tube' and 'SS sound tube delete mod' and how ROTO-FAB eliminated it as an option. Google searches take me in circles.
Was the 'sound tube' deleted on the 2020 ZL1 cars? |

I see where the sound tube would be on my car, but there is a plug there from the factory. It is my understanding no ZL1s came with sound tubes.

There's no sound tube in the ZL1. You can buy an aftermarket one as I did but removed it immediately. It does bring in lots of supercharger whine but it also makes too much air noise like it's going to suck my feet in the hole.

Even the 2020 SS's no longer have the Sound Tube...

No ZL1s ever had a sound tube like the SS. It has the sound of the supercharger and there’s no room around the engine compartment to put one anyway.
