The SS grill looks a lot better than the ZL1 grill.

That’s your opinion. Has anyone switched it out. I have to replace my bumper so I thought I would change it with a zl1

Ikon or American Authority I believe. Both have slight differences in styling

I’d go with IKON, the AA looks too pointy in all the pictures and vids I’ve seen. Some people like it though.

Both the SS and ZL1 bumpers look good. I just personally prefer the looks and airflow of the ZL1 front bumper much more. I can't remember what company made mine, but it was about twice the price of the Ikon anyway. I believe because the look and fitment were dead on and it came with everything (lights, flowtie, hardware, etc.).

I don't think AA sells the pointy bird beak, Dollar General brand looking ZL1 bumper anymore. They sell this one, (Ikon) which I believe is what you're looking for. I'm not sure on the fitment, but I would imagine it's very close. But the ZL1 1LE doesn't come with DLs. So, you might want to get a ZL1 bumper and these (not sure if they'll fit an aftermarket ZL1 bumper) if you want both the lights and canards that bad. You'll still have to buy the lights too though.

Ikon IMHO looks the best besides OEM. I am doing the OEM conversion I have the hood already installed and the bumper in my garage. I am waiting on Gen5diy to complete the fender brackets so I can use the stock SS fenders and not have to upgrade to the ZL1 fenders.

Aren't they the the same fender just the ZL1 uses a longer bracket? Thought gen5diy confirmed this a couple of years ago? Then again, the facts could be like covid facts, all over the map.

That's what I vaguely recall, too, someone even posted how to adjust the fender bulge so that it lines up perfectly with the ZL1 bumper...

I thought the whole fender was different? How does the hood line up if the fender is pushed out? Can you just use a stock ZL1 fender bracket?

I'm pretty sure the entire fender is wider and spacing out the SS fender is only to bring the back edge out to be flush with the ZL1 sideskirts. If you look at ZL1 fenders you can clearly see they are bulged out 20mm more at the top (actual sheet metal) to cover the ZLE wheel/tire and the ZL1 wheel/tire which is the same offset as the SS1LE is recessed in. If you try to space out the top of the fender as well as the bottom you are going to have a huge body panel gap.

Correct Ofer is working on the brackets I picked up a set of the side skirt brackets from him just waiting on the fender ones they should have ready by the end of the summer.
