They were $100 cheaper last year!
If you have a USAA membership you can get about the same deal (25% off) on new stock, and shipping/installation via the closest Goodyear tire shop will probably be less, so I'd guess the USAA deal is better vs Tire Rack + a random local installer right now.

The website says they are 2016 and 2017 production dates that they are putting on clearance. That's a pretty old tire for R-comps!

TireRack stores in climate controlled warehouse. They don’t have any age factor on them.

Plus you get $100 mail in rebate and if you have a Goodyear credit card, you get another $100 mail in rebate! Geez.
Then if you're lucky enough, like me to be near a facility, you can get another $52 off. |

Shipping is free with TR now too. You can apply for the Goodyear credit during the purchase, double the rebate, and get 6 months same as cash. I'm checking my USAA pricing, which includes installation. Looks like $950 plus tax installed minus $100 rebate, then another $100 if you use GY credit. So $750 ish. Can't beat the USAA deal!
