Flowmaster 81083 x-pipe fitment

Does anyone have any advice regarding the Flowmaster 81083 x-pipe mid section fitment? https://www.holley.com/products/exha...pe/parts/81083
I have headers with cat connection pipes to the stock pipes back to stock NPP muffler. I’d like to replace the OE mid H-pipe section with an X-pipe and eliminate the crush pipe section. It’s not clear weather they will mate up with the stock muffler or not. It does say in the description that they are “intended for use with Flowmaster axle back systems” but I’m hoping they’ll mate up to the stock muffler. If you are familiar with this setup please post your thoughts. Thanks

OEM system is an x-pipe and you get nothing for replacing the crushed section.

Oh dang you’re right. I thought it was an H. I just looked up some pics and verified it’s an X

if you aren’t going to replace all of the exhaust from the cats-back, i wouldn’t bother doing any of it. power gains are moot. no idea on sound. i removed my entire stock exhaust from the cyl head to the bumper when i did it.

I have the flowmaster scavenger x-pipe with their American Thunder NPP axle back, but with the stock manifold and cats. I noticed a little more sound when accelerating, and maybe a bit more pick-up on low-end, but that's it.
No fitting problems with the cats and stock manifold. Their pipe is 3.0 inches.

I have secondary cat deletes, flowmaster scavenger pipe, and american thunder mufflers and its def loud. So loud I havent done headers because Im worried about it being way over the top. I can be heard already from a few streets away.

I wanted to go that route as well, but every place I went to in NJ said they could not delete the secondary cats. So, I ordered the AWE track axle back (muffler delete being installed this Wednesday) and I am keeping the flowmaster x pipe
I wanted it louder at idle and when cruising.
