2019 ZL1 rear deck speakers not working after seat install

Hello guys, I installed a set of aftermarket seats for track days and I noticed the rear deck speakers do not work now.

I took the wiring harness out of the Driver & Passenger seats and plugged them into the car, which fixed the side view mirror controls but didn't change anything on the rear speakers.

Our educated guess is there is a ground-loop somewhere in the wiring harness for the rear amp or speakers we aren't grounding by just plugging the harness in, seems like a fixable thing if we knew what to do/change.

Has anyone solved this problem before?

Thanks in advanced to those who know!

The amplifier is located in the trunk. The rear deck speaker wires stay in the trunk harness. As far as grounding is concerned, the amplifier will work if the casting grounded or floating. The amplifier depends on the ground wire going into the amplifier. The casting is connected to ground internally.

You should go back and recheck your harness to the rear deck. If the other channels are working, and you have chime, and rear collision alert, the amplifier is working fine. All channels will be playing. Check the 8 pin harness going into the amplifier, and make sure that it is seated all the way.
