Tires for ZL1 1LE?
I recently installed R888 tires on my 1LE as o both do Trackday and use the car as a allaround car.
It seems like many of you dont agree that the R888 is a good option for a RWD car, what are the options? |

It depends on what you want gubel! If you are happy with them and they are performing for you then that’s all that matters.

The 'street' GoodYear Supercar 3's are the best all around tire for these cars that see track duty. (Not the 3R's... just the 3's). If you see 'very little' track time, than the PS4S is the best all arounder IMO.
Best regards, Dave

Also consider pilot sport cup 2. Nearly as good track performance with improved road performance and longevity.

On the ZL1 I can't agree that PSC2 have nearly as good track performance. I'm running them now on street and track in 345/30/19-R and 315/30/19-F.
PSC2 have pretty good track performance for ~10 minutes on track, I've put down decent times. But the SC3R are much better, when they're hot they have wicked grip that lasts through entire session (unlike PSC2). The 3R seem to handle the weight of the ZL1 much better IMO, the PSC2 are great for lighter cars like 911s, Ferraris, etc. The PSC2 are better for spirited canyon driving where you can't get as much heat in them and may encounter sprinkler runoff. |

I like the 4S for the street. Changes the car completely without sacrificing street grip, meaning the tire does almost the same thing the 3R does without heat and being fussy. On the track it is hard to argue with the numbers the 3R has put down.
