Installing headers

Hey guys, I’m getting headers soon and are going to have someone install them. I currently have no exhaust system just a ghetto muffler delete and secondary cat delete. Will there be any issues with the install? I still have the crushed pipe section so I’m guessing the x pipe will connect on from there all the way to the primary cats and headers section if that makes sense. Thanks.

There are no issues...with enough money.

Is it a 1 7/8 header or 2 inch?

The 1 7/8 have no problems with installation or clearance in general.

The 2 inch's have been hit or miss. An older issue with old revisions of the headers rub against the steering shaft on hard right turns; this is fixed more recently. There's a bolt that also causes some clearance issues and sometimes requires the headers to be dented in to fit. And then finally the spark plug wires might melt off eventually from the sheer heat, may need a sleeve for that, but this occurs sometimes after the installation.
