LT4 Blower Upgrade - 82 pounds
As a data point for superchargers...I reweighed my 2018 SS 1LE (1SS/only option is PDR) after installing a new takeoff LT4 supercharger unit and all GM ancillaries except for the ADM water reservoir and K+N panel filter...
Weight gain was 82 pounds (current no fuel/no people weight is 3729). Pre-blower weight (kilograms): ![]() Post-blower weight: ![]() Note: the current weight includes new front rotors/4 tires, and the addition of a wideband gauge install - all account for 6 pounds increase from pre-blower weight (I weighed all old and new parts...). Pleasantly surprised at the low weight. Dyno test on Friday to see overall return on investment...;-)

Thanks for info. Recently did same upgrade to my 2019 M6. question. Wen I got back it seems to have "hesitation" in first gear throttle response. Did you experience that. My tuner says I am touching the throttle too fast before letting out clutch and car trying not to stall. ??

Gary: Jannetty did my tune and I have no hesitation - drives like OEM.
