Hi Guys... Tried to order the GM ground effects kit for my car from shop chevy parts.com...The price was good..Placed the order only to find out they don't stock the kit...OK...AND...They want a 30 day window to get it and ship it.. I thought that's a little much but being the current state of events I still went for it and gave the OK for the wait..
Now,3 weeks into the wait the order mysteriously got canceled and can't get a response from them..I'm an easy going guy but the customer service from this place has me a little fired up..  Any suggestions for a different route to get the kit without breaking the bank ?? |

Ordered 0-40 oil from gm parts direct when it first came out it was back ordered and then they stopped selling it by mail altogether and I never once got an email them to this day. Just moved on and got it elsewhere

I just bought the GM CAI from them just about a month ago. They got the intake shipped to my door within a week. Another place to get official GM parts is GM parts direct or That GM Parts Guy! Also ordered stuff from them and they came at an exceptional time, hope this was some help

Probably none of the parts places will have them in stock. I’ve been ordering from GMPartsDirect. They may not be the absolute best price versus the rest but for me they are my most trusted source and things I thought I’d have a week or two wait before they shipped actually shipped out within a couple of days.

I have ordered the GM CAI, GM Windscreen and GM Footwell Lighting Kit from ShopChevyParts, like a month and a half a go and everything came pretty quick. The prices were the best I had found after searching like 15 other sites. The only issue I had with shopchevyparts so far is the GM Footwell Lighting Kit did not come with any instructions even though in the description on their site it says the instructions are included. I have yet to call them and try to get them with all this stuff going on right now, so needless to say the kit is still pending installation. Other sites that sell GM parts that were a close second and third in pricing for me on everything was Wildhammer and Scoggins Dickey. My ground effects kit, I got from ACS Composites.

You could call your local dealership, or go to accessories.chevrolet.com for official accessory parts as well.

Thanks guys..I'll try a few of the mentioned sites...I might reach out before actually ordering to see if there might be an issue from GM that's holding up the kit...
It's strange that the GEN2 ground effects kit isn't available in GBA black..Only the first gen kit..I was thinking about getting the satin blk gen2 and spray it in GBA..But to be honest I don't really mind the first gen kit's style... I might reach out to the local dealership as suggested and throw some numbers at them..They've been pretty negotiable with some of the stuff I've bought in the past..And that would cut the wait time considerably..Technically the dealership isn't "open" but the service and parts dept. have reduced hours until our area gets the green light.. Let's face it, the ground effects package isn't a small ticket item that's easily stocked by the discount parts houses I get that.. So the dealership might just be the best route for this item... |

I went through GMPartsWarehouse for some stuff. They did ok by me. I think a lot of places drop ship items.

If they've got it, they'll ship it. I've bought numerous items from ShopChevyParts.com and they've been great. I had some issues with the mud guards and their customer service was great. I have the "Stinger" stripe kit on my LT1, as a factory option. The corners near the heat extractor are all wrinkling and the dealer ordered a new kit; back ordered. Can you say COVID-19?

I've had good luck with gmpartsdirect and gmpartsnow. From my experience, gmpartsnow is usually a few bucks higher, but their shipping costs are oftentimes markedly cheaper.
