Extended Warranty?

Just wondering what's out there and what others have purchased.

I went to the GM website and they have a Platinum and Silver package from a "third party" available for X many years.
Back when I had my 12 Corvette I purchased and extended warranty through GM at a great price. The sales person and service person both said to stay the F away from 3rd party warranty's. Stick with the GM extended Protection plan. That's what I did. It looks like there's no more GM Extended protection plan. A 3rd party Platinum\Silver plans that are very expensive is all that is offered.

Back in 15 I got an excellent deal on the GM Extended Protection plan for my 2012 Corvette GS Vert. At the time ( 2015 ) she only have 7500 Miles. They charged me $1100.00 to extend it out to 60K or three additional years. My 18 SS 1LE only has 3200 Miles on it.... LOL. SMH, should I start answering my phone for the extended warranty folks? It doesn't seem like GM is offering much better. Way to expensive for my 18 SS Camaro with 3K miles. Over 2K for less of an extension.

Shoot Ryan an email. He has good platinum GMEPP plans. Don't be afraid to haggle with him on the price. He will eventually go down a little.

man GM dosn't even back their basic warranty when you buy a new car. why in the world would you extend that? Your better off just knowing a mechanic you can trust.

You know, you'll have to drive that Camaro a little more often to know whether it has any issues or not

Sorry to hear about your negative experiences with GM's factory warranty. That must have sucked. Mod or tune your vehicles much?
