Guys,
2019 ZL1 1LE.A10... . accelerating hard in Sport mode, the center display flashed this message: Performance Shift.. haven’t seen it before, WTF ??? Thanks, Bill |

I just saw that today on my 2020 2SS, usually drive in manual mode but jumped on it in today in Auto mode and saw that message.

BTW it is supposed to do that, makes the shifts a bit faster and firmer. Also will downshift when decelerating. Last edited by The Manalishi; 05-02-2020 at 08:02 PM. |

Let’s say you are on the highway in PTM mode. Doing 80 mph.
Some dude in a 2020 GT 500 pulls up and gives the signal. So you are probably in 8th gear. Once you slightly tap the gas the “PSA” comes up. This alerts the A10 that we are about to run hard. So the tranny is now in combat mode. Once you floor it the car will downshift and you’ll be in the next zip code. If you floor it without tapping the gas slightly then it will downshift a tad slower than with PSA.

Does this mod come with only sport and track? Has anybody tried to get into it from Tour or Snow Ice? If so, does it switch from T to S? You can enter whenever you want: -floor max power and release within 1’’ -take a turn with more than 1 lateral G (This last one is surprising, switching performance in the middle of the turn is scary when you’re not expecting it... recommand to enter the mod before if you want to play) When you overtake a mustang in that mod, if you honk twice it will give you extra HP ! |

sport and track only...performance shift doesn't appear in tour. If you want to leave "Performance shift active mode" quickly, you can kick the console shifter over to the manual gate then back to automatic.

Did you just complete the break in?
May be a GM software to prevent this mod before a certain mileage ? (1500 break in) Did someone hit that performance mod from the very beginning ? Should explain may be |

I'm at 16,000 miles, so I would think so... It seems my cruise-control shows up different too, it shows some different info on the screen than before. I thought i was just loosing my mind.
