6th gen camaro stock exhaust with NPP - value

Hi,

I'm about to install a cat back exhaust on my 6th gen which means I am going to remove the stock exhaust. I'm going to transfer the NPP valves onto the new exhaust.

Is that stock exhaust worth anything? not sure if its worth trying to sell or if i should just toss it. I tried looking online but i don't see anyone else trying to sell their stock exhaust.

Thanks

Depends on what you mean by "transfer the NPP valves." If you're just talking about unbolting the actuators that control the valves you'd probably be OK, but if you mean you're taking the whole valve assembly via cutting then there might not be much interest. Couldn't tell you without trying, though.

I've seen them in the for sale section (axle-back assembly minus actuators) for $100-$150 range before. I'd figure try to sell it first and if there's no interest for a while then toss it?

You could keep it and then when you sell or trade your car in you can sell the aftermarket cat back and have the stock one put back on.

Then you can get some money back.

I've seen them for sale for as little as $100, or as much as $300. ...not sure if they sold though. I kept mine for the reason 2004yzfr said. If I trade, no way it's going with AWE system on there, and if I sell private, then I can negotiate that in the price. I've got it buried up in the back of the attic!

I have a 5th gen V8 NPP full length exhaust set for use with LTs having an extra resonator. In great shape. Anybody want to just come and get it?
