2018 ZL1 to 2020 ZLE: Is it worth it?

I love my 2018 ZL1, but was looking at some deals due to the economic downturn and wondering if it would be worth it to get a 2020 ZLE over my 18 ZL1......thoughts?

Price difference between the two after the deal is all said and done will be your first clue.
How much?

I'd use net amount you're paying after interest and all payments are done for both loans and compare the gap. If you want resale value for the 1LE, get the 1LE. If you just want the performance, the 1LE's main benefits come from the aero work, tire grip and the solid cradle bushings. Do those three and you're 90%, compare the price to the car swap to decide is my vote.

The base ZL1 is a better DD because of its magnetic suspension and its performance summer tires. The ZL1 1LE is a track monster but with very stiff suspension and cup tires that wear faster for DD. It would depend on your type of usage, I would prefer to stay with the base ZL1.

Depending on how good of a deal you’re getting in the ZLE.

Considering the pathetic state of our economy, any deal you get for the ZL1 1LE would be eaten up by abysmal trade in values.

No one is buying cars so your dealer has no motivation to give you a reasonable value on your ZL1.

Best advice is to hold on to what you have till the economy picks up.

Unless of course, you are paying for the new one in cash.....

^Something like this. Don't get me wrong, I love my ZLE, but if I already had a ZL1 I was happy with, I don't think it would be worth it. Unless you're going to start tracking your car a lot more etc. Even then I'd probably just put the money into BMR suspension mods and a nice set of forged wheels or something along those lines plus track time/driver mod.

Any particular reason you'd want a ZLE over your current ZL1? Meaning is something missing from your current car that you'd really like to have that is on the ZLE?

If you were going to get a 2020 ZLE, stick with the A10.
