Greetings from new 2019 2SS 1LE owner

Hey all,

Been years since i regularly dabbled in any car forums so trying to adhere the best to putting this post in the best place possible. Bought my 2019 Summit White Camaro 2SS 1LE package yesterday. Drove from Central New Jersey (been living with parents for the last month since my tiny 1 br apartment in north jersey would have me going nuts working from home within days to basically a 2 acre farm here) up to NH and back all within a 12 hour period. Went through a bunch of the car settings today, made a checklist of things i had questions about or that i want to know more about. My past history was 84 trans am, 92 Stealth es, 86 RX-7, 86 RX-7 GXL, 1990 Plymouth Laser, 2004 Subaru WRX, 2006 Ponitac GTO, and now this. So i've had it all, 4, 6, 8 cylinder. Forced induction and rotary, yellow and red cars and everything in between. But this is the newest car I've ever bought and I hope to keep for a long while. It's kinda fun/odd comparing the similarities/differences with the '06 gto as they were obviously different platforms, and the mods on the car I had were ~the same horsepower-wise but this car is so much tighter and feels a lot faster because of it (also 1LE plays into this). Anyways, enough of my rambling. I would have posted this in the after delivery thread, but this car has 10k on it now with the drive home from NH, so I am the 2nd owner.

I normally live in Rutherford, but am residing back where i grew up in Manalapan NJ for this past month since my apartment is tiny and my parents have 2 acres.

Edit: just got the pic uploaded. So the former owner I guess wrapped the roof and tinted the rear windshield and quarter panel windows. *Otherwise the car is stock*...:leads me to hours of research:

Enjoy the car, white looks great.

Take it to the track, too, when the quarantine ends.

Nothing that a license plate can’t fix and when on the track you take it off anyways. Plus you only see the rear ended of a Camaro.

lol, yeah I think the reaction was a bit overblown. I would have taken either front end. But I am learning little things here and there like sun roof wasn't an option so when i popped the light panel to look and see how I was going to hardwire my Uniden R7 I bought today I realized there isn't a constant power source. My rear view mirror doesn't have the features others mention in their write ups like the rear camera, no forward collision alert, etc.

I am pretty sure Gen5DIY.com sells a wire harness, plug and play for a Radar detector. You may want to start there.
