Corsa x pipe question

I am looking at getting the corsa 14788, which is the x pipe that deletes the secondary cats. I have seen several threads where people are stating that a secondary cat delete causes false knock which causes the engine to pull timing. However, all of these cases seemed to occur on cars where the secondary cat delete was done on the stock exhaust rather than through an entire new x pipe. I am wondering whether or not this part would cause false knock and timing to be pulled. I am on the stock tune and my only mods are a rotofab cai and a weaponx motorsports ported throttle body. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
