In case you guys have the same problem I ran into with my 2017 SS. I found a way to fix the display screen so it doesn't rattle over bumps in the road. Was driving me crazy. First check if you have play between the screen and the dash at the top of the screen. If you do you can fix it.



1). First watch this guy show you how to remove the screen from the dash.
2). Get to home depot and buy a small roll of 1/2 garage door foam insulation tape.
3). Cut 2 1 inch pieces of foam. Cut 1 4" piece of foam. The foam has a sticky back to peel off.
4). Place the 2 1" pieces on the front top of the arms right under/below the hooks.
5). Place the 4" piece along the back top back of the screen but below the angled top and between the arms.
6). Hook the display back in at the top and replace the 7 mm mounting screws.
7). You should notice there is no play between the top of the display and the dash anymore. BAD DESIGN!!!.
