Can I change the exhaust mode when the car is off?

It is possible to change the car exhaust mode when the car is off?

You can do it with the engine NOT running, but the electrics have to be all powered up. In other words, sit in the car with a key fob in your pocket and press the start button without putting your foot on the brake pedal. After a few seconds, the instrument panel will light up and you can change any setting you want.

hold the start button for 6 seconds without your foot on the brake. it will boot up the car infotainment and you can select stealth from there and you will hear the valves close. then you can start in stealth mode.

My C7 didn't turn off when leaving the car after being in that mode - thinking it would turn off when the door opened and/or everything went dark. It didn't and drained it to nothing.

Do Camaros behave the same way? If so, here's your reminder.

It should have a limit of about 10 minutes in accessory mode before the battery drain protection kicks in. But no it won't turn off by just opening the door, etc. Have to press the start/stop button again to turn it off.

That isn't Accessory Mode. It allows full control for testing and/or adjustments.

Accessory Mode is touching the start button and this is holding it for a while longer.

Whatever mode you want to call it, it should have a 10 minute limit. Since the 12V outlet is only powered when in the press the start button for 6 seconds mode, I have had it turn off on me when filling the tires with air and had to do it again.

That is service mode. And yes it does all that but you should push one more time to turn it off. Ck engine light is on in this mode. Push it again to turn off and ck engine light should go off. I would not try to run the car in this mode either. I turn it off, then if I want to start the car after that I turn it on 1 quick push Then hold brake and push again to start

In accessory mode the car will turn off within 10 minutes. I can’t find the thread but somebody tried to do a nav map update with their car in run mode. The nav map update procedure says to leave it running in Park and that it can take up to 50 minutes. They didn’t want to leave their car running that long. As I recall they said the car stayed on until the battery voltage dropped to a certain voltage and then the car turned off but there was still enough power to start it. I updated my nav map with a battery tender connected to avoid that problem.
