Overkill Tuning my V6

you might have to let it run a couple cycles if you tripped the TCM bus. This happens if you
don't press the start button until the car goes into pre-start mode, like turning the key to "on" but don't start the engine.

get in, close everything. press the start button until the gauges and lights come on, if in an M6, basically don't push the clutch in. in A8 its probably different check your manual. Send the tune.
press the start button to shut everything off. take a couple of deep breaths. Start the car.

rinse and repeat as necessary.

as to file size you only send the calibration changes, not the whole file.

Yeah, the problem was me. I didn't fully engage the instrument cluster before flashing. Thank you very much though for the information.
